Throughout my extensive career spanning over three decades, I have cultivated a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, their families, and multidisciplinary teams. Alongside esteemed professionals including directors of children’s services, senior local government managers, and owners and directors of organisations providing registered services for looked-after children. 

My unwavering focus has always been on ensuring the safety and protection of children in public care, underpinned by a steadfast commitment to ensuring delivery of high-quality care and education. Central to my practice has been the implementation of quality assurance measures and benchmarking to uphold standards of excellence. Employing a solution-focused approach, I drive towards positive outcomes, particularly adept at managing conflict, addressing poor performance, and ensuring compliance.

With a decade-long tenure as a social worker responsible for quality assurance within the London-wide social care contracting project, I transitioned to project management in 2012, overseeing business operations, commissioning services for children, and spearheading system and IT developments. Subsequently, my tenure as an Ofsted inspector of children's homes and residential/boarding schools further honed my expertise in regulatory compliance and best practice principles.

Now, as a consultant and coach, I leverage my extensive sector experience to provide invaluable guidance and support, offering insights informed by a deep understanding of legislation, regulation, and industry standards.
